Today we are facing a problem that how to save energy. Because as we know the origin of energy is sun, and the energy that came from the sun stored in different ways. But to convert those energies into useful type such as electricity we have to spend money. So the conversion process is not free. In that matter power saving is a significant objective to achieve.
In our project we intend to design an automation system to conserve electrical energy and to remote control electrical appliances like bulbs and fans. When we look into the problem, today most of the people forget to turn off lights because of the strict schedules that they move with. When we consider thousands of people do the same thing, the energy that wasted cannot be neglected.
As well as if you imagine the moment that you turn off the light and going to bed in dark, it might be very difficult to find your way. All these things happen because of the traditional technology applications that we are living with. For example the switch panel fixed into the wall. If you want to turn on a fan, you have to walk to the switch panel, sometimes several meters far away from you. What if we can have a device to control all the above things in a perfect manner?
So in our project we intend to design an automation system to conserve electrical energy and to remote control electrical appliances like bulbs and fans.
